Notes: String of PAC-10 titles was halted at nine when Indians forfeited most of their matches because of an ineligible wrestler. ... Graduated four wrestlers with more than 40 wins last season, including two-time state champion and four-time state medalist Zack Kemmerer (199-18), and one-time state champion and three-time state medalist Chris Sheetz (189-23). ... "We're very young," said Hontz. "We're probably looking at starting upwards of eight freshmen and sophomores this year, with only two seniors. There's probably going to be a tot of growing pains this year, but nobody's going to feel sorry for us. We'll just work hard and see what we can do."

Wrestlers to Watch: 6th Graders Brandon Frickman (Blue 115), Tyler Livingstone (Gold 64), Jack Hovanac (Blue 150), Devin Bradley (Gold 150), Casey Cook (Gold 92) and Brandon Simmon (Blue 85). Keep an eye on these boys at the Middle School Level next season.
Notes: The Braves program continues to produce outstanding wrestlers to feed the Middle and High School programs. Head coach Dave Hartung consistently provides a top notch practice program, from 35 pounds up to Advanced Practice. Coach Dave never tires of teaching a good stance and a double leg takedown. Kudos to a great wrestling staff and another year of team and personal victories on the mat. Watch for updates as we approach the 2008-2009 season!
